2014 International Cargo Bike Festival
Courriers, handymen and even waste collectors are beginning to embrace the cargo bike in an effort to save money and time spent parking and traveling. In order to bring together professionals already using the bikes, entrepreneurs considering incorporating bikes into their business plans and manufacturers of cargo bikes and related components, the International Cargo Bike Festival is being organized in Nijmegen, The Netherlands April 12-13.
The festival will be a chance to learn about the latest business practices and newest cargo bike technology. On Saturday, the conference of the European Cyclelogistics Federation will be held. The group supports the needs of the cycle logistics companies in Europe. Exhibitors, speakers, and participants will come from The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, France, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, the United States and Australia.
Senior Consultant Ronald Jorna will be speaking about the way electric assist cargo bikes are opening up new business opportunities by allowing for longer trips and heavier loads.
