The Growing E-Bike Boom: Mobycon on CBC Radio Calgary

This week Mobility advisor Shelley Bontje was featured on Karchut on Cars with Paul Karchut for CBC Radio’s Calgary Eyeopener. Along with professionals from across North America, she joined the discussion about the growing popularity of e-bikes in Canada, and how their prominence in the Netherlands is a result of shifts in priorities that began in the early 1970’s. Providing this perspective helps the audience understand that e-bikes are part of influencing that transition to e-bikes not only for individuals in increasing their range, but also creating new, sustainable opportunities for city logistics.
