Teaching an adult how to ride a bike is completely different than teaching a child. Later in life, fear or overconfidence plays a role. Teachers and volunteers who want to teach receive practical tools, materials, and tips during our workshop train-the-trainer.

How do they ensure, for example, the correct structure of the lessons? How does an teacher provide a good mix between practice and theory? Which traffic situations can the students expect? During the workshop there is plenty of attention for guiding groups. And, since cycling is not as common in countries other than the Netherlands, teachers have the opportunity to learn how to accommodate other cultural identities.
