APBP Webinar: Lennart Nout on the infrastructure for Micromobility

The third Wednesday of every month, the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals hosts professional development webinars for their members. The one-hour webinars help planners, engineers and others working in walking and cycling learn from fellow professionals about their expertise in the field, sharing knowledge across disciplines and regions. This month, Manager of International Strategy and Mobility Advisor Lennart Nout delves into the world of planning for micromobility.

Planning Physical and Digital Infrastructure for Micromobility

Cities today are dealing with the expansion of private, shared mobility services like scootershare, bikeshare and carshare. These new mobility options are amassing large amounts of data on when, where, and how people are traveling, and can lead to challenges and opportunities for cities to effectively manage the public right of way, from curb space to sidewalk to travel lanes. Join Populus, Mobycon and staff from the City of Long Beach and the City of Chicago for a webinar to discuss the future of managing streets for micromobility and the challenges and opportunities around mobility data sharing and new approaches to street design.
