Session 8A: Cycling Design Elements

As we design safer facilities for cycling in our cities, we also need to explore how we design roundabouts to enable persons on foot and bicycle to traverse them safely and without conflict with cars. Mobycon’s Integrated Mobility Consultant in Ottawa, Justin Goulding, explores a case study of creating complete streets through successful roundabout design and lessons that can be applied throughout North America using the design standards used throughout the the Netherlands.
