Developing a Recreational Cycling Route Network in Denmark

Dansk Kyst- og Naturturisme is working on making cycling tourism in Denmark more attractive. It needs to be easier for Danes and guests to jump onto the bicycle and into the wonderful Danish countryside. Therefore a recreative cycling route network will be developed, where attractive, safe and accessible cycling route connect points of interest. We begin in three different geographies, and will afterwards give recommendations on how to expand the network to the whole of Denmark.

Together with Mobycon, Folkersma Routing en SignCyklistforbundet (Danish Cycling Federation), and NIRAS have been chosen to develop this recreative cycling route network, and we can’t wait to get started!
